There is no waste in nature. If a tree falls, it is only halfway through his life. When a bear or an animal ends up eating and processes it in her body that fertilizer for future life in the forest-flora.
So it's a beautiful thing, the way nature worked this all out. There is no waste in nature; the human animal is in fact the only animal on the planet make waste that nature can't handle.
We all pay for the landfills, around the country, and anyone in the us with some system, it is a municipal system that manages their own waste locally or it is a system that ships of the waste to other parts of the country.
The reason you should care about this is because who is going to make a difference for the environment, for the economy, for your costs, for all the things you have to worry about it. In economics there is this parliamentary term "externalities" and there's a lot of cost out there that we bear collectively as a society, whether it's the Habitat destruction, or the costs directly are imposed on us citizens who don't ask for these costs on us.
The cities are now under pressure from the huge budget and they need to save their costs. They are trying to get their costs in terms of how they manage to save their waste and they hope to start making more money from recycling. So is it really becoming more of a fiscal issue than environmental issue in some cases.
Most recent statistics show that even with the recycling as high as it's still there more than half of what is happening on the disposal site which can be recycled or reused.
The garbage is more expensive than recycling. The dumps are not used for making money, but they are revenue extractors because cities spend a lot of money to keep them. You need to pull off the gas, you need to pull out the water and treating, you must want to trace a health monitoring system of the size of the thermodynamics, and all that cost money.
